Although I am an experienced therapist, I am not the “expert” on you. You are the expert on yourself. We will begin our work by listening deeply—me to you, and you to yourself. Together, we will work to understand the events and circumstances that have shaped the particular way that you find yourself in your life right now. Together we will bear witness to your current struggles and your strengths. From there, we can move you toward the change that you wish to bring about in your life.
I’d love to talk with you directly to explore how I may be able to help you.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and a therapist and counselor with more than 20 years’ experience working with adults and young adults on issues such as anxiety and panic, depression, relational trauma, OCD, abuse, and grief in its many forms. These issues often co-occur with ADHD or other aspects of neurodivergence, and I enjoy working with people who are exploring the intersection between neurodivergence and mental health. I also regularly work with individuals who are experiencing chronic illness and integrating the identity of a changing self. Whatever the specific issue at hand, my clients are often at a crossroads, looking to set a new direction in life and experiencing uncertainty and self-doubt in the transition. Our work together is a way to move through transition in a way that is both productive and deeply aligned with who and how you are and who and how you want to be.
Above all else, I consider my work with clients a collaborative partnership. I am transparent about my thought process and theories so that we can work together to co-create a narrative of you in your life–of where you have been, and of where you are going. I view all of my clients with consistent positive regard, as I believe that change can only grow in a safe place, free from harsh judgement and criticism. Sometimes we laugh together! It doesn’t always have to be serious to be meaningful.
The therapeutic frameworks I use include Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), relational/person-centered, trauma-informed, and Liberation Health frameworks. I work on an ongoing basis to act as an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, and have a passionate commitment to activism, advocacy, and all issues relating to social justice.
